Ministries

Please note that out of love and concern for our people and their health and safety, many of our ministries have been curtailed at this time due to COVID-19/pandemic restrictions and concerns. As guidelines are relaxed and the pandemic calms down we will be cautiously adding back some of our previous ministries as well as adding new ones.

    Current Ministries:

    • Giving:
Our church considers it a privilege to give back to the Lord of the blessings He has given to us. As a church, we give back to the Lord by sending support to various ministries of our national offices, The National Association of Free Will Baptists. Several are: IM, Inc., North American Missions, The Together Way Plan, and Welch College.

If you would like to give to our church and partake in the worship of giving, you may give in several ways:

    -Online by clicking HERE

-United States Postal Service:  Attn Treasurer, NCFWBC, 409 Moores Lane, New Castle, DE 19720

-In-Person:  By attending our Sunday morning service.
    • Prayer Hotline
For emergency prayer requests, Pastor Hale texts our people who have volunteered to pray immediately for these requests as they come in.
    • Prayer Warriors:
Each Wednesday, Pastor Hale publishes a Prayer List via email. This list contains ongoing prayer requests as well as new ones that are of various needs. Our people who have voluntarily subscribed to this list are lovingly called our Prayer Warriors.
    • Preaching of the Word:
Our pastor preaches biblically sound sermons each Sunday during our worship service at 11:00 a.m. He is engaging and the sermon is relevant to even our children in the service.
    • Music:
On Sunday mornings, our music is a blend of hymns and more contemporary praise choruses. It is uplifting and refreshing as it sets the tone for worshipping together.
    • Teaching of the Word:
    Bible Study:

Preaching has an important purpose. In-depth Bible study is a necessity for steady growth in the life of the believer. Pastor Hale broadcasts sound live-stream Bible-teaching twice each week, on Wednesday and Friday, in addition to the Sunday morning worship service being live-streamed.

          A Note About Our Curriculum:
Because families are precious to our church, we take our choice in Bible teaching curriculum seriously. Our choice is D6 Everyday. This is a Biblically sound teaching curriculum published by Randall House Publications. Based on Deuteronomy Chapter 6, it focuses on proper biblical teaching in the home, as well as in the church.

"D6 connects the church to home and families to one another" giving us the tools we need "to help people become fully functioning followers of Christ."
